Grass paddocks divided by electric fencing in the Leicestershire countryside
Equestrian & Paddock Management · Leicestershire & the Midlands

Healthier paddocks.
Less ground disturbance.

Agricultural drone services for horse owners, livery yards, riding centres and equestrian estates.

The challenge

Small paddocks. Electric fencing. Difficult access.

Conventional machinery can be difficult to use in subdivided fields, narrow gateways and vulnerable ground. Our drones can carry out suitable applications without tractor wheelings across the paddock.

Based in Blaby, JP Rural Services works with equestrian properties across Leicestershire and the Midlands.

How we can help

Practical care for your grassland.

Start with the condition of the paddock and the result you want to achieve.

01

Granular fertiliser

Broadcast suitable granular fertiliser without heavy machinery travelling over the paddock. The product and application plan are agreed for your site.

02

Foliar & seaweed nutrition

Suitable liquid foliar feeds and seaweed-based fertilisers as part of a planned grassland programme.

03

Grass seed broadcasting

Target worn and poached areas with suitable grass seed. Establishment depends on seed-to-soil contact, weather and aftercare.

04

Multispectral health surveys

Map uneven growth and vegetation stress, highlighting areas that may need ground checks, soil tests or closer investigation.

05

Awkward-access paddocks

Assess suitable areas divided by electric fences or reached through narrow gateways. Every flight is planned around the site and its surroundings.

A clearer picture

Survey. Identify.
Target. Improve.

Multispectral drone surveys highlight differences in vegetation condition and help guide investigation of possible nutrient, drainage or compaction issues.

Imagery alone cannot diagnose the cause of poor growth. Ground checks and soil testing may be recommended before deciding what to apply.

Plan around your land

Right product.
Right place. Right timing.

Tell us your location, approximate paddock area, access and what you would like to improve. We will discuss whether a survey, application or further ground assessment is the appropriate next step.

Horses and other livestock need to be safely managed away from the operating area. Product suitability and any grazing restrictions are checked as part of the application plan.

Agricultural drone application work operates under SAS Land Services’ Operational Authorisation.

Working together

Your land. A shared plan.

We work closely with the landowner, farm or site operator, and their agronomist where involved, to plan each agricultural application around the land, crop and intended outcome.

We agree suitable products, application rates and timing before work begins, drawing on the farm’s knowledge and agronomic advice. Where appropriate, follow-up surveys and field observations help us review the response and plan the next step.
